Junior Cross Country 2011

Watch our i-moive and find out what we thought about cross country!

POPCORN

In room 6 today we made popcorn during writing time.  We are learning to write 'recounts' about an experience we have had.  The class enjoyed watching the popcorn come out of the popcorn maker.  We talked about how it looked, smelt, tasted etc. We put our describing words onto a brainstorm and then we wrote our own stories describing our experience.

Writing Motivation

Today for writing we tasted lemons as our motivation. Watch our i-movie to hear some of the awesome describing words we came up with to describe how they tasted.  If you read my story you will see what I thought...

The Funky Monkeys

Today the Funky Monkeys came to visit St Albans school.  It was fantastic! we got to sing and dance and have a real good time.  TVNZ came and filmed us, maybe we will be on T.V? Here is a wee video of one of the songs we got to dance to, Room 6's favourite part was the BUBBLES!!!
